Bio

Bio of Artist Stephanie Kriza

Born in 1972 and raised in Belle River, Ontario, Canada, I currently reside in Stoney Point, Ontario with my husband and our son.

I studied many disciplines of art while attending Belle River High School and fell in love with painting, drawing and pottery. College soon took over and did not leave me much time to pursue my passion for art although I did get to get creative studying graphic design while pursuing my Advertising Business degree.

Upon receiving a diploma of Applied Arts in Advertising Business at St. Clair College of Applied Arts & Technology in Windsor, Ontario Canada, I started my website & graphic design company Kriza Advertising & Design in 1997, www.krizadesigns.com.

I soon expanded my web design business and began doing artwork and photography for many of my advertising clients’ logos, product packaging, menus and more. In 2011 I founded www.kriza-art.com and began selling my paintings and custom commissioned artwork on etsy.com and other art websites.

In 2012 I licensed my artwork to All My Walls Art in Minnesota, USA as they contacted me to sell reproductions of my paintings on metal in their Art Galleries and on many websites such as walmart.com, wayfair.com, overstock.com, bhg.com, staples.com and many more websites.

In 2013 I started teaching private art lessons in my home studio, and in 2015 I began hosting art parties in my home studio as well as various venues throughout Essex County.

My inspiration is derived mainly from my favourite place to be….. the beach & ocean as well as nature and my travels throughout the Caribbean and Europe. My love of all things rustic also influence my many artistic endeavors.
